ESDP Free Skill Development Program Overview
To boost employment opportunities and encourage technical entrepreneurship among youth, specialized job-oriented courses have been launched under the Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDP). This training equips participants with practical, hands-on proficiency in industry-standard CAD/CAM software, CNC manufacturing technologies, and industrial automation systems.
Available CAD/CAM/CAE & Automation Courses
Interested candidates can choose from short-term (1-month) skill modules and comprehensive long-term (6-month) master certificate programs tailored to modern industrial demands:
| S.No. | Course Name | Training Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | AutoCAD | 2D Drafting & Engineering Design | 1 Month |
| 2 | MasterCAM / DelCAM | Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) | 1 Month |
| 3 | CNC Programming Lathe | Precision Turning & G-Code/M-Code | 1 Month |
| 4 | CNC Programming Milling | Multi-Axis Milling Operations | 1 Month |
| 5 | SolidWorks | 3D Parametric Solid Modeling | 1 Month |
| 6 | PLC Programming | Industrial Automation & Control | 1 Month |
| 7 | Master Certificate Course in CAD/CAM (MCCCC) | End-to-End Product Design & Tooling | 6 Months |
| 8 | Master Certificate Course in Mechatronics (MCCM) | Robotics, Electronics & Industry 4.0 | 6 Months |
Course Highlights & Career Scope
Each module is structured to bridge the gap between academic theory and shop-floor industrial execution:
1. Short-Term Design (1 Month)
AutoCAD & SolidWorks: Covers 2D mechanical drafting, 3D part modeling, assembly design, and sheet metal layout. Ideal for mechanical, production, and civil engineering candidates targeting R&D and design roles.
2. Manufacturing & Machining (1 Month)
CNC Programming (Lathe & Milling) & MasterCAM/DelCAM: Focuses on G-code/M-code programming, toolpath simulation, and high-precision machining operations for automotive and tooling industries.
3. Industrial Automation (1 Month)
PLC Programming: Trains electrical, electronics, and instrumentation students in ladder logic programming, sensor integration, smart manufacturing, and automated plant control systems.
4. Advanced Master Certificates (6 Months)
MCCCC & MCCM: Flagship 6-month certifications combining product design, CAE analysis, CNC manufacturing (MCCCC), and multidisciplinary robotics, pneumatics, and Industry 4.0 automation (MCCM).
Eligibility Criteria & Required Documents
