🔍 Job Responsibilities
As a QA Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with Herbalife’s global quality standards during the procurement, storage, and transportation of raw materials and packaging components.
Key duties include:
- Monitoring vendor processes and performing quality audits.
- Conducting facility inspections and ensuring adherence to FSSAI, AYUSH, FSSC, and GMP guidelines.
- Vendor communication for process changes, complaints, and quality issues.
- Executing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Supporting defect resolution and quality improvement at contract manufacturing sites.
- Organizing training sessions for vendors on quality standards.
- Testing raw and packaging materials, and investigating OOS results.
- Compiling MIS reports and participating in cross-functional improvement projects.
📘 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Educational Qualification
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Food Technology, or related disciplines.
✅ Experience
- Minimum 3 years in Quality Assurance within Pharma, Food, Nutraceutical, or Ayurveda sectors.
✅ Key Skills Required
- Proven experience in Supplier/Vendor QA.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP.
- Familiarity with QA processes like Calibration, Sampling, OOS, OOT, and Testing Procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
🧭 Reporting & Supervision
This position reports directly to the Manager, Supplier Quality, and involves coordination across Herbalife’s quality and manufacturing teams.
