“Providing Technical Services and Compliance Monitoring During the Full-Scale Soil Remediation at the Mercury Contaminated Closed Thermometer Factory Site of Hindustan Unilever Ltd in Kodaikanal”

🧪 Job Role: Project Scientist-I (Code: 3.1)
- Organization: CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur
- Location: CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur or its Zonal Centres
- Nature of Job: Temporary, project-based
- Mode of Selection: Walk-in Interview
- Emoluments: ₹56,000 + HRA per month
(5% increment every 2 years on the same project) - Upper Age Limit: 35 years (as of last application date)
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry / Environmental Science
OR - M.E./M.Tech. in Environmental / Chemical Engineering
- Ph.D. in Chemistry / Environmental Science
- Experience:
- 4 years of R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions or S&T organizations
📌 Job Responsibilities
- Prepare soil remediation validation, closure, and regulatory compliance reports
- Compile technical data on soil remediation methods and contaminated sites
- Assist in the field implementation of remediation technologies
- Perform tasks as assigned by the project lead (PL)
