🎯 Job Role and Responsibilities
As a QC Chemist, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality control in food products by performing chemical tests, lab analysis, and reporting. Your role will include:
- Performing analytical testing and supporting small batch sample blending
- Maintaining digital records and entering quality data
- Ensuring calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
- Maintaining lab hygiene and safety protocols
- Assisting in microbiological sample preparation and compliance documentation
- Preparing and packaging samples as per customer requests
- Providing quality support with minimal supervision
- Assisting in QA processes, food safety standards, and routine lab functions
✅ Eligibility Criteria (Qualifications & Skills)
Education:
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field
- Diploma holders with relevant lab/QC experience may also apply
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a QC/analytical laboratory or food manufacturing setup
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good knowledge of food quality, safety systems, and lab protocols
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Open to forklift training (on-site)
